Working with the press is an essential component of our campaign. We want to draw attention to the unfairness of the common German practice of conceding and denying visa and we want to initiate a public discourse. Central demands of “Visa Wie?” are a transparent and fair visa process as well as the abolition of the criterion “Rückkehrbereitschaft” (intent to return to the home country after the expiration of the visa) as a requirement for the concession of a national visa. We are always happy about requests from newspapers, online-magazines, radio or TV-stations and we enjoy giving interviews or writing contributions about latest news and content of campaign on our own.
